Nutrition Education

 

The Marinette/Oconto County UW-Extension Education Program works with area schools and agencies that serve FoodShare eligible residents.  Our primary goal is to help families, children and youth learn to make food choices that are consistent with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.  We also help them stretch their food dollars, use thrifty shopping practices to purchase nutritious foods and learn about safe food handling, preparation and storage. What is the Home Visitation Program?

The Marinette County UW-Extension and Human Services have combined to bring home visiting services to our county. Home visitation services include:
